I understand that all the new movies and TV shows involving Sherlock Holmes are good; believe me I’ve seen them and I love them. I just wish people wouldn’t look at me blankly when I mention the Adventure of the Dancing Men. That case was one one of my favorites and no one knows what I’m talking about!

So today was the day of silence. Although I didn’t participate, a lot of my friends did and it amazed me how many people at my school didn’t even know what it was. I don’t think many people think much of it. To them it’s just a day when a couple people don’t talk for a day. It made me want to get more people involved. If more of the class participated the teachers wouldn’t like it much but it would certainly get everyone’s attention. I’m planning on participating next year.
